Kailey Herron - Teacher

Melissa Maddern - Sound Bath Facilitator, Yoga Instructor 200-HR YTT

Melissa grew up in a household filled with music and is passionate about the healing power of vibrational sound. Her journey was shaped by her father, a musician and guitar builder, who instilled a profound love of music in her from a young age. She discovered yoga in 2001, and as her passion for the practice expanded, so also did her experience of music and what it can offer.

Melissa has attended hundreds of sound baths and workshops inspiring her to share her understanding of holistic wellness. She has since collected many instruments, some lovingly hand built by her father, to share her love of sound by creating deeply relaxing, meditative, and healing offerings for all.

Melissa is a devoted student of yoga and completed her 200-HR YTT in 2019 and Embodied Yin Immersion YTT the same year. Melissa’s yoga classes empower students to be fully present in their bodies, find their own edge and honor where each individual is in the moment. Her philosophy centers on the practice of staying present in challenging poses and connecting to breath. Through conscious breathing, concise alignment cues and accessible yet challenging sequences, she aims to create space for students to cultivate inner peace, quiet their busy minds and build confidence.
